As I finally figured spiritual enlightment can not be found in my fridge or at McDonalds, I decided to pick up a few books.

So I was reading Eckhart Tolle’s: The Power of Now.

As far as enlightment goes, I don’t think it is going to be reached by me any time soon.

Where are my keys?

My non-practicing catholic family, may not go to church. But they are the first ones in the buffet line for whatever insert religious holiday comes to mind. As christian holidays go, I am sure the devil is somehow involved. Every holiday involves food! Not healthy foods my body naturally passes, the kind of food that wants to permanently attach itself to my hips.

This holiday around it is chocolate bunnies and chocolate eggs. Those mouthwateringly deliciously chocolate icons of easter, that LOUDLY call my name everywhere I go.

Almost at target weight right now, not sure if that will still be the case on monday.

For those that do not like me to use the word “devil”, I am sorry. Please do not send me emails calling me Satan’s child.

 I come from a family of martial artists, 3 family members of mine have their own school: Kung Fu, Karate, and Pencak Silat. I was an Ibu (teacher) when I was younger in Pencak Silat (children and like my cousin self defence women), and competed at national and european levels. I am planning to switch over (after careful debate and research) and start soon to something that is martial without the art, Krav Maga. (Because really, I wanna be Sidney Bristow.)

I knowwwwwwww.

Some people have been shamelessly harassing me (as opposed to your simple garden variety of harassment), for me to start blogging again. For many reasons, I do not want to get in to, I was unable to. To keep a long story short, it was for privacy reasons, that if I were to blog I could potentally legally get in to trouble.

Now this all sounds ominous and scary, while in fact it is not. Nothing a few years in a Turkish prison won’t fix……..KIDDING. Nah, seriously, if you are in a situation where people could be reading your blog and you may inadvertently get in to trouble if you were to say something, you simply don’t blog.

However, without trying to jinx things here, I may be led out of my 2+ years of prison (the non-Turkish kind.) I can start blogging again, leading my adventures, and continue on the path of treating both the body and mind of Nikkie well. Yes the fact that I am speaking in as a third person about myself, shows how insane I have gotten. I must fix that.

If you hear nothing from me again, in the next few weeks. You’ll likely won’t hear anything from me until September 2007. If you do, well then wooohooooo, my life is splattered all over the internet again.
